July iPhone photos

Another month behind us--which means another dose of iPhone pictures and a new 'Month in a Minute' video, coming tomorrow!

 and watercolors!

okay, so Liam and Kai really were thrilled to meet Anna and Elsa--but that didn't translate well in a photo. This picture=hilarious!

With Zeke's upcoming arrival and Liam's 6th birthday in a few weeks, August is sure to be a good month!

New Town

Yesterday was a day of spontaneity and adventure. Maggi heads back to school next week so our chance to have some summer fun was running out. I had no idea what I wanted to do, but I knew that it had to involve ice cream at some point. It is, after all, National Ice Cream Month. We ended up heading out to the St. Charles area, along with Mayci and Mysti. And since we were going to be in the area, we picked up Stef to join us.

First stop was to New Town. This charming little community has it's own little "Truman Show" vibe. So everything was picture perfect, with a slight hint of creepy.

Along with their own shops and church, they have a farm--also charming!

I noticed that the problem with hanging out with girls with cameras is that no one wants to be in front of the camera. I managed to get a few with my lovely friends :)

we headed to historic St. Charles for a quick stop

After a few more stops and dropping Stef off, we (of course) stopped at Quiktrip for their amazing pretzels and cheese. But we still hadn't gotten ice cream! We had our hearts set on pretzel cones from The Fountain. After taking a major detour to get this much desired ice cream, we pulled up to find that they were closed. Major disappointment! In the end, we found Tower Grove Creamery and we were still able to get a delicious treat.

It was so nice to get out with the best of friends after being sick this past week. I hope you're enjoying this amazing July weather as much as we are!

sugar, sugar (a sweet photoshoot)

Okay, so before you see all these pictures and start judging us, we did have a reason for gathering up tons of sugary foods and photographing ourselves with it. However, at this point, that's all the information I'll be posting here :)

Since Rachel missed out on our last trip to the abandoned church, we took a little trip out there last week on one of the nice days. We were both working on something that required lots of photos/videos. I thought it would be fun to share some of the pictures we took. All the pictures of me were taken by Rachel. Although I can't blame her for the poor editing.

the sun was shining through a circle window--it made for some pretty cool lighting

So we may be a bit strange--but it was such a fun night with a crazy amount of laughter. Thanks for going along and letting me use your pictures Rachel!
