I'm very thankful to have all of these pictures. Now I need to print them out for people. (And ourselves.)

Guess what Kingston learned to do on Friday night? He learned to climb out of his crib. (He also used his potty chair too! But that was an isolated event.) I have been dreading the day that Kingston would have to move to his brothers' room. Neither of the other boys had been in a crib as long as Kingston. But I just didn't feel he was ready. And I wasn't ready for the lack of sleep that would result from the move.
When we discovered that he could now climb out of the crib, we decided it was time to move to the big boys' room.
Saturday was Kingston's birthday and his first night to share a room with Liam and Kai. And you know what? He did just fine! He only got out of bed once. He looked so sweet laying between his brothers, ready to sleep next to them. We moved Liam to the top bunk the next night. And Evangeline is now in the crib. Everyone is adjusting well to the bed switches. Evangeline went to bed at 9pm last night and just woke up at noon! I'd say she loves her crib.
Anyway, since I was at the Beatles tribute show half the day on Kingston's birthday, we had his party on Sunday afternoon.
I probably should have done a better job about taking pictures. We had an ice cream party with lots of delicious toppings. Kingston had a great time!
It got up to the 70s that day, so thankfully the kids were able to play (and eat) on the deck.
The kids loved the gummy bears on their ice cream.
And Maggi loved the sprinkles.
When he's staying out of trouble, he is a lot of fun :)
We love our little Kingston guy!

Last week was a busy one.
Mayci took our family pictures. I only have a few on my phone, but here are some of my favorites.
She did a great job--even though she had to work with 4 children (3 of them would have rather been doing other things.)
Wednesday-Thursday was the Chick-fil-a opening in Sunset Hills. Molli was so very kind to offer to watch the kids so I could go. There ended up being about 27 Rockport members there in the freezing temperatures. (When we got there it was about 18 degrees) During the day it got up in the 40s, so it wasn't bad. I don't think I even got cold until right before bed.
Fox 2 hung out with us all morning, interviewing multiple people in our group (me included.) I have no clue if my interview even aired. But here's Mayci, doing her live interview.
On Saturday, Maggi and Stef took me to see Rain: A Tribute to The Beatles at The Fox Theatre. It was fantastic! They sounded just like the Beatles and did all the same costume changes.
Let's just pretend that this picture was taken many, many years ago with John Lennon.
We finished out the night by going to Baileys Range.

This past week we went to my Grandma's house to visit with her before she left on (another) trip to Guatemala. That woman is 82 years old but I feel like she has more energy than I do!
My mom made some gooey butter cake to celebrate my birthday.
The boys love the tire swing. It's fun to watch them play where I grew up playing.
The trees in her yard looked so pretty. So I got a picture of each of the boys with them. The lighting was coming from behind, unfortunately. So their faces are a bit dark.
This picture of Kai showcases his personality.
That day was Evangeline's half birthday!
It's hard to believe we've enjoyed 6 months with this precious baby already. Having a baby girl is everything I dreamed it would be. Sometimes I'm still in awe that I actually have a baby girl! She has been crawling and it is so cute to see. She loves when I tickle her on her neck. She's still obsessed with her tongue. Pretty much anytime we say her name, she smiles and sticks it out. We like to call her "Miss Evangeline" or "Miss Pretty" or "Pretty Girly." Or if you're Kingston, you call her "Gully" for his inability to say "girly." She is so spoiled with love. I look forward to many years of developing a relationship with her.
Yep, we all love her :)
Yesterday was my birthday. The Lovings came over for dinner. I sure do love that family.
Maggi came over as I was trying to get dinner ready. She wanted to get a birthday picture of me. Unfortunately, I don't think people use iPhones to take cool glitter pictures. So it kind of just looks like I'm blowing sand.
It was pretty hilarious to watch her try to block all the glitter I was blowing on her.
Cyndi made some delicious desserts. Peanut butter cup s'more bars and these peanut butter pretzel pops. Amazing!!!
The Rays and Gunbys joined us for dessert.
I love the Tuckahoe family!
I know this last picture is really dark and grainy but Evangeline isn't feeling well today. I put her in bed with me this morning and she fell back to sleep. It was a sweet time of cuddling that I loved and wanted to remember.
I am so thankful for my family and friends and that God has blessed me with another year!

Cheesy blog title. But let's face it, I love puns. And I love fall. And I love Maggi.
Maggi and I went to Castlewood Park this evening. I got so many good pictures that I want to post without looking obsessed with Maggi. So I'll do it here. The trees were beautiful. So was the sunset.
Castlewood has many great lookout points. Not designed for girls in boots. But we don't care!
We found this fallen tree. It was perfect for taking pictures. Unfortunately, some guys saw us there and hijacked our spot when we walked away.
We found a lovely spot to watch the sunset.
